Two-Year Mellon Postdoc in Visual History

 

Historian of the Holocaust

The History Department at the University of Southern California seeks a highly distinguished historian of the Holocaust to be appointed to the Shapell-Guerin Chair in Jewish Studies. We welcome applications from scholars who also specialize in the study of comparative genocide. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. and will have the opportunity to build curricular and research programs with the newly established USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education. It is expected that the appointment will be made at the tenured associate or full professor level. The appointment will also include affiliation with USC’s Casden Institute for the Study of the Jewish Role in American Life.
