| I began the program in Fall 2007 and am interested both in the American West (focusing on social history and the inter-relationship between law, race and gender) and in 20th century Europe. I received my A.B. in History from Stanford University (where I grew my interest in 20th century Europe) and my J.D. from UCLA Law (where
