I completed my B.A. at Pomona College in 2006, majoring in History. After spending a year working as an educator, I joined the history department at USC in the fall of 2007. Broadly, my research interests include the intersections of race, conquest, and agriculture, particularly in the west. Currently, I am researching grape cultivation and winemaking in 19th century California. I welcome questions about my research or the history program at USC. |
