I am a latecomer to the graduate program, having taken a 17-year hiatus after graduating from UCLA in 1983 with a degree in history. I am currently working on my dissertation, which centers on early-twentieth century California clubwomen's collaboration with John Collier and Pueblo Indians on Indian welfare reform. My fields of interest include the history of women in the U.S., the history of the American west, and native American history. I absolutely love studying, writing, and teaching history, and count myself incredibly blessed to be pursuing and living this dream come true. |
