MAJOR FIELD: Modern Europe, Urban History

STATUS: Pre-quals
In the fall of 2007 I entered USC's program with an interest in studying Modern Europe. I arrive after having completed an MA in French Studies at New York University. Prior to that I did my undergraduate work as a History major at the University of British Columbia. Having lived in Vancouver, New York, Paris, and now Los Angeles, I’ve developed a keen interest in metropolitan space and the visual culture of big city streets. I hope to engage with these interests through course work in Urban History and Visual Studies.
