| I grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2008 with my B.A. in History and Chemistry. I studied medieval and early modern Europe at Oxford in Fall 2006 and irretrievably lost my heart to history. My main research areas are scientific, medical, and intellectual communities in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, with a focus on gender and social contexts in England. I love all kinds of knowledge and especially enjoy looking for unexpected connections among disciplines. |
