All scheduling is done online. After you are trained to operate an instrument, you may register by visiting Calendar (under construction) for a particular instrument, choosing a convenient date and time and applying for a time slot there. Priority is generally on a first-scheduled first-served basis, with some exceptions for prepaid services.

Requests for the time slots for scheduled equipment will be approved by the NanoBiophysics Core Manager by an email notification.

PI’s who pay a monthly upfront fee have a priority in scheduling and usage of the equipment, given at least a 3 working day advanced notice. For example, if a request for an instrument’s time for Thursday is placed on Monday before noon, then all other prescheduled requests will have to be rescheduled.  Otherwise, the researchers who pay upfront fee will have to comply with the first-scheduled first-served basis. Rescheduling will be advised by the Core Manager via email.
