Graduate student Aleca LeBlanc will be the first participant from USC in the IMI think tank.

A second-year PhD student in the Art History Department, Aleca studies modern art with a focus on Latin America. She spent last summer in Rio de Janeiro learning Portuguese and doing preliminary dissertation research. Prior to coming to USC, Aleca was a curatorial assistant in the Modern and Contemporary Art Department at the LA County Museum of Art where she worked on the exhibition Beyond Geometry; Experiments in Form, 1940s-70s.

Graduate students from UNAM will also be invited to participate in the International Museum Institute.
