Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Modern or Contemporary Art, 2009-10

The Department of Art History at the University of Southern California invites applications for a Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the 2009-2010 academic year. The field of specialization is Modern or Contemporary Art with a possible emphasis on global networks of visual culture. The Fellow will be expected to teach one course each semester in the Art History program. The Fellow must have a Ph.D. in hand, and should be within 7 years of receiving the Ph.D., by the beginning of the appointment. Applicants should send an application letter, CV, 2 sample syllabi, and a brief description of dissertation and current research. In addition, three letters of recommendation should be sent under separate cover by the deadline of March 1, 2009.
