General Guidelines:
Gather the following information when available:
Artist's name
Title
Date the work was created
Collection, museum, or owner
Country of origin
Dimensions of the work
Medium or material
You will also need the citation information for the print or electronic resource in which you found the image. Note that many institutions and electronic databases will specify preferences and standards for image citation.
