The USC Rossier School of Education offers the following graduate programs:

• Master of Arts in Teaching and Teaching Credential Program (M.A.T./Teacher Education)
  13-month program. Students earn a Master's degree and preliminary teaching credential, with field-based experiences that are linked directly to coursework.
• Master of Education in Educational Psychology/Instructional Technology
  One or two-year program options. Program focuses on learning and motivation, emphasizing the study of new information and performance technologies used to improve instruction among diverse student populations.
• Master of Education, Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs (M.E. PASA)
  Students in this two-year program will have the opportunity to develop an area of proficiency in Student Affairs, Academic Advising, or Athletic Administration.
• Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)
  Program lasts 2 years and two summers and offers small classes that simulate the counseling environment. Practicum facilitates hands-on experience in the field. Option to add third year and pursue P.P.S. credential.
• Master of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (M.S. TESOL)
  This two-year program prepares graduates to work as teachers, curriculum specialists, and administrators in ESL/EFL programs in the U.S. and abroad.
• Master of Education in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (M.E. TEFL)
  Professional one-year program for experienced teachers who wish to teach English as a foreign language internationally.
• Master of Education, School Counseling (and Pupil Personnel Services Credential)
  Two-year program preparing school counselors for K-12 urban school settings.
• Doctor of Education (Ed.D.)
  This three-year program equips practitioner/scholars with the skills needed to connect research with practice, lead high-performing organizations, and help all students learn. Students study one of four concentrations: Educational Psychology, Higher Education Administration, K-12 Leadership, and Teacher Education in Multicultural Societies.
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Urban Education
  Full-time program provides full tuition remission and an academic stipend for four years through multiple work experiences, allowing each Ph.D. student the opportunity to participate in research, teaching, and study. Concentrations include Educational Psychology, Higher Education Administration, and K-12 Leadership in Urban School Settings.
