The Society for the Study of Occupation:USA (SSO:USA) Fourth Annual Research Conference 2005 will be held October 27-29, 2005, at the Bolger Center in Potomac, MD. This year's Ruth Zemke Lecture in Occupational Science is Dr. Florence Clark, who will be presenting: "One Person's Thoughts in Mapping the Future for Occupational Science."

The society was founded in 2003 through the efforts of occupational scientists, including several USC occupational science graduates. The primary mission is to build an interdisciplinary community of scholars to contribute to the development of occupational science in the United States.
