Reunion 2008 highlights coming soon!
Fall 2007 Reunion Highlights - November 2, 2007
The Reunion celebrations began with a CME program lead by
Dr. Namir Katkhouda who spoke about the obesity epidemic in
the United States, followed by Dr. Diana Schneider who spoke
on the topic of Delirium, Dementia and Depression in the elderly.
It was evident that the lecture on obesity was taken seriously
as many of the alums turned down the just baked cookies at
lunch recalling the CME lecture.
The alums enjoyed a BBQ lunch in the courtyard quad on a
beautiful autumn day, while catching up with old classmates.
After lunch, they were given campus tours by medical students.
The alums enjoyed hearing the different memories and perspectives
from the various generations including the current medical
student tour guides’ comparisons.
The evening program took place at the Jonathan Club. The
Classes of 1992 and 1997 wined and dined on the Jonathan Club’s
rooftop under the stars with the city lights twinkling all
around them. Whereas the other classes: 1962, 1977, 1982,
and 1987 dined in the various private rooms with beautiful
architectural detail. All of the classes gathered for a group
cocktail party where they were able to intermix with the various
generations. In each dining room the alums discovered a large
copy of their class photo from their graduation year. A photographer
captured the nostalgic moments for the classes.
