| The Anesthesiology Department
provides excellent educational opportunities for members of
our medical profession, whether they are anesthesiologists,
medical students, resident, or CRNAs. Our location, in the
LAC+USC Medical Center and the Keck School of Medicine, provides
a rich environment for a stimulating experience. Excellent
case mix, appropriately supervised autonomy, advanced clinical
experiences and focus on didactic and clinical research opportunities
are key features in the increasingly accountable and rigorous
educational program.
We have enhanced our entire residency program and are in the
process of revising the CRNA program to create top-notch programs.
These recent educational initiatives have demonstrated the
commitment and resolve of our residents and faculty to academic
excellence.
The Department of Anesthesiology and the Office of Continuing
Medical Education are sponsoring the Ultraound
Guided Regional Anesthesia Symposium,
September 20, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort
and Spa, Huntington Beach, CA.
