The Anesthesiology Department provides excellent educational opportunities for members of our medical profession, whether they are anesthesiologists, medical students, residents, or CRNAs. Our location, in the LAC+USC Medical Center and the Keck School of Medicine, provides a rich environment for a stimulating experience. Excellent case mix, appropriately supervised autonomy, advanced clinical experiences and focus on didactic and clinical research opportunities are key features in the increasingly accountable and rigorous educational program.

We have enhanced our residency program with appropriate clinical assignment and educational curriculum, with a constantly challenging program with outcome measures.

The Program of Nurse Anesthesia has received accreditation through 2019 and continues its commitment to excellence in the education of its graduate students.
