USC cardiothoracic surgeons have engaged in a new era of cardiac surgery that promises to significantly improve treatment of the most common forms of heart disease by introducing minimally invasive technology to cardiac surgery. With the development of the minimally invasive cardiac surgical technology, USC surgeons can achieve results that are as safe, precise and reproducible; but with significant benefits to the patient in terms in terms of decreased postoperative pain, recovery time, cost and cosmetic result.

USC cardiothoracic surgeons, along with their extensive clinical, research, and administrative staff, offer comprehensive state of the art therapy.
