Community Scan of Public Health Insurance Outreach, Enrollment, Retention and Utilization Efforts in Six California Counties

The Division of Community Health conducted an assessment of existing outreach, enrollment, retention and access activities for public health insurance programs in six counties in California (Alameda, Fresno, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Santa Cruz). The Division developed and conducted several in-depth surveys to assess outreach, enrollment, retention and access activities being conducted by public and community based organizations. The inventory and findings from the study were used by The California Endowment to inform future funding initiatives.
