The University of Southern California Department of Family Medicine plays an important educational role at the Keck School of Medicine. The department is committed to providing excellence in education and training to residents, fellows, and medical students. The department oversees the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program that has had a long and successful program in training physician assistants. The department also provides a community service through its training on AIDS and HIV to health care providers throughout the area.
