USC Family Practice Residency Program at Keck School of Medicine

Qualifications

Applications accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) only. Please do not send applications and associated documents through the mail or e-mail.

United States Applicants

Applications from U.S. Medical Students must consist of the following documents:

  • USMLE Part I (Passed – no minimum score required to apply)
  • USMLE Part II, if available, (no minimum score required to apply)
  • COMLEX also acceptable.
  • Three Letters of Recommendation - one letter preferable from a Family Practice physician.
  • Personal Statement
  • Transcripts (no fails)
  • Dean's Letter
  • Current CV

International Applicants

Applications from International Medical Graduates must consist of the following documents:

  • USMLE Part I (Passed on the first attempt–no minimum score required to apply).
  • USMLE Part II, if available (no minimum score to apply).
  • Three Current Letters of Recommendation –one letter must be from a Family Practice physician.
  • Personal Statement
  • Transcripts (no fails)
  • Dean's Letter
  • Current CV
  • Permanent Citizenship in the U.S. Sorry, we do not sponsor Visas.
  • California Letter (Status Letter must be received by January 31, 2007)
  • Current ECFMG certificate (must be received by January 31, 2007)
