- Enable learners to develop skills in interviewing, clinical reasoning, and patient-physician interaction/communication.
- Maintain a conducive, non-threatening learning environment.
- Provide SP feedback to learners, both verbal and written, on communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain SP quality and standardization through monitoring and feedback.
- Develop learning materials for SPs
- Conduct collaborative research.
- Collaborate with course directors in case development.
- Provide feedback to the curriculum in areas of clinical performance.
- Provide student performance data and reports to Associate Deans, the Curriculum Committee, faculty and students as appropriate.
- Review item analyses of OSCE and CPX checklists.
