| The Department of Medicine (DOM)
is the largest department at one of the most dynamic academic
medical complexes in the country. The complex is comprised
of the following training sites: LAC+USC Medical Center, USC/Norris
Cancer and USC University Hospitals, and USC Internal Medicine
private practice ambulatory care venues. As the largest department
of the Keck School of Medicine, DOM leads USC in the provision
of clinical care in both the public and private practices
of the Health Sciences Campus. The Department is dedicated
to providing quality, state-of-the-art patient care to both
insured and uninsured patient populations and the opening
of Norris Inpatient Tower at USC University Hospital and the
new 600 bed LAC+USC Medical Center, the Department is continuing
to move toward our goals of optimal quality and efficiency
of patient services.
