This has been an exciting year for the Division of Endocrinology at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. We have opened two new state-of-the-art diabetes clinics at opposite ends of the city, hired four outstanding new faculty members, seen a major increase in research activity and funding, and enjoyed a major increase in the number and quality of applicants to the Endocrine Fellowship Training program. Three new major NIH grants were obtained by members of the Division this year, illustrating the vigor of diabetes research at USC.
