Casey O'Connell , MD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine

Upon graduating from the George Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. O’Connell came to USC to complete residency and internship training and has maintained an affiliation with the Keck School of Medicine. Dr. O’Connell has achieved accolades at every level, including graduating medical school with distinction, Junior Resident of the Year honor, Senior Resident of the Year honor and a Fellow teaching award. Dr. O’Connell is actively involved in clinical research in the areas of blood clotting disorders and lymphoma. She has published several papers in the area of cancer-related thrombosis.
