Medicine

USC Geriatric, Hospital and General Internal Medicine (GHGIM) faculty have been trained at the most prestigious institutions in the United States. All are faculty members of the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. USC GHGIM is part of the large multi-specialty medical group known as USC Internal Medicine, Inc. Within the medical group, the GHGIM physicians serve as highly trained primary care doctors. All of our GHGIM Physicians are Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Our general internists are exceptionally skilled in diagnosing and managing the care of patients with a wide variety of health concerns. As academic practitioners, our physicians have their training consistently reinforced through their teaching and research activities. We encourage you to choose a physician from GHGIM for your primary care needs and allow USC to care for you.

Our Mission Statement

Excellence in Primary and Specialty Care: Comprehensive, Scholarly, Compassionate

Our Philosophy

USC Geriatric, Hospital and General Internal Medicine's advanced medical knowledge and preventive care philosophy provides a strong foundation for patient focused, high quality health care. Our goal is to provide the most sophisticated and compassionate care concordant with our tripartite mission of scholarship, teaching and clinical service.

General Services

We strive to coordinate care in a comprehensive and continuous manner. Health issues can be complicated and our general internists believe that listening and enabling joint decision-making with our patients, their families and across medical specialties is essential to a patient's well being. The health care landscape is often confusing and our physicians are adept at calling in the resources necessary for comprehensive care.

When is the last time you had an annual examination? Annual examinations are important for identifying potential health issues and allow our physicians to guide you in your quest for better health.
