Fellowship Overview

Your interview day will consist of interactions with current fellows, including opportunities to attend conferences, as well as the opportunity to meet and interview with several faculty members, including one or both of the Division Chiefs. 

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS:
There are many hotels located in Downtown, Los Angeles with convenient access to public transportation. The Los Angeles Visitors Bureau link from this website can assist you with reservations.

The Millenium Biltmore is located at 506 South Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. For reservations please call 800-245-8673. Please request the USC preferred rate at the time of your call. The rate is $139.00 plus 14% room tax.

The Kawada Hotel is located at 200 South Hill Street in Downtown Los Angeles. For reservations please call 800-752-9232. Please request the USC preferred rate at the time of your call. The rate is $69.00 plus 14% room tax. Shuttle service to the Health Sciences Campus is available. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance.

The Holiday Inn City Center is located at 1020 S. Figueroa St.in Downtown Los Angeles. For reservations please call 888-336-3745. Please request the USC preferred rate at the time of your call. The rate is $109.00 plus 14% room tax.

SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION:
Super Shuttle is available from Los Angeles International Airport and a pick up site is located outside the baggage claim area. The transportation fee to a downtown hotel is $13.75. The Super Shuttle rate from the Health Sciences Campus to LAX is $27.00.

TAXI SERVICE:
Taxi service is available from the Health Sciences Campus to the Los Angeles International Airport. The transportation fee is $45.00.

USC SHUTTLE

USC provides a free shuttle which services the USC Health Sciences Campus (drop off/pick up near USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center), USC University Park Campus (main campus) and Union Station in downtown L.A.  Many of the Los Angeles area buses  (http://www.metrolinktrains.com/) and trains (http://www.amtrak.com) have service to Union Station.

Driving Directions

Free parking is available in LAC+USC Lot 9, Section A.  A free shuttle to LAC+USC Medical Center is available every 15 minutes.  USC-Norris Cancer Center is across Zonal Avenue.  Driving directions that follow describe driving to this lot.

Paid parking is available in the parking structure on Biggy Avenue and may be available free of charge on certain days.  Please call for information.
