Retreat

MMI's annual retreat was held last October 2, 2009 at the Almansor Court in Alhambra. The goals of the retreat are to welcome and integrate new students into the department and further promote the collegial and interactive nature of the department. The retreat program includes presentations by faculty and postdoctoral fellows with regards to their research interests. Complementing the scientific component of the retreat is the golf social activity, see Retreat Program.

Seminar Series

MMI's Seminar Series features outstanding scientist to the department and the community at large. These seminars serve as a forum for discussing important discoveries and developing ideas in research.
