USC Headache Program

Patient care:

Our headache program is directed by a board certified headache specialist who has tremendous experience in treating complicated headache patients. The program provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of both common headache disorders like migraine and tension headache, and uncommon headache disorders like cluster headache. A comprehensive management strategy is used that includes multimodal and multidisciplinary approaches to treat chronic headaches. Our focus is also on patient education as a key component in our goal of headache and pain free patients.

Medical Education:

The program also helps train medical students, residents and post-graduate fellows to recognize and treat headache disorders.

Clinical Research:

Our research focus is to characterize and treat headache disorders, to decrease disability from such conditions and to introduce holistic medicine as an additional approach to improving well-being in patients with chronic headaches.
