USC University Hospital is a private hospital where patients receive in-patient epilepsy care. There are two dedicated epilepsy monitoring rooms where pre-surgical work-up takes place. The University Hospital also has a 3 Tesla MRI for high resolution epilepsy studies. Brain surgeries, WADA tests, and motor and speech mapping, and vagus nerve stimulation are performed here.
USC HealthCare Consultation Center 2 at the Leslie P. Weiner Neurologic Care and Research Center is the out-patient private practice clinic for our epileptologists, neuropsychologists and neurosurgeons. It is located at 1520 San Pablo Street, Suite 3000, Los Angeles, CA. Here, our epilepsy specialists spend time working with patients and their families to coordinate care in a team approach.
Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center allows our team to care for the uninsured patients of Los Angeles who suffer from epilepsy. A large half-day clinic is conducted each week with our epileptologists, fellows and residents. Brain surgeries, WADA tests, and vagus nerve stimulation are also performed here.
