Direct Access To Clinical Trials
Within the past 11 years, the interferons and glatiramer acetate have been shown to prevent relapses, slow progression of disability, and, by clinical and radiologic measures, can significantly alter the natural history of MS. Our patients have participated in pivotal trials of these therapies, as well as Phase I, II and IV trials of drugs new and old.
For patients at the MS Comprehensive Care Center, accessing medical studies is effortless. The MS Center has streamlined its process of recruiting patients for both USC-centered as well as important national and international multi-center studies. The MS Center ensures that patients have access to up-to-date research and treatment options, and are considered in as many research protocols as are available to them. Additionally, the Center is a member of The Consortium of MS Centers, and is an affiliated center of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Click here for information on current clinical trials.
