The USC Comprehensive Stroke Center provides a wide range of services, using the latest medical, surgical, and interventional techniques, covering all aspects of stroke. The team is prepared to deal with the needs of the gamut of stroke patients from those experiencing a stroke who need immediate treatment to those coping with the aftermath of a stroke or a stroke-related condition who need specialized follow-up care. More than 2600 stroke visits occur per year in the USC University Hospital and the Leslie P. Neurological Care and Research Center, with an even larger number occurring in the Los Angeles County system.
