The USC Neuromuscular Program at the Leslie P. Weiner Neurological Care and Research Center/USC University Hospital campus provides an integrated approach to clinical diagnosis, neurophysiologic testing and treatment options for patients with various neuromuscular disorders. Among the services include clinical and diagnostic evaluation for patients with neuropathies, immune-mediated neuropathies, diabetic neuropathies and neuropathic pain. Highlights of the Center’s specialized services include a state-of-the-art Neurophysiology Electromyography Laboratory for electrodiagnostic testing, and an Infusion Center, often used for infusion therapy such as intravenous immunoglobulin therapy (IVIG).
The USC Neuromuscular Program is directed by Dr. Said R. Beydoun, M.D., FAAN, Professor of Neurology. Dr. Beydoun is also Director of the Neurophysiology Electromyography Laboratory at USC University Hospital, and the Program Director of Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship Training. In addition to Board Certification in Neurology, Dr Beydoun is Board certified in the subspecialties of Pain Medicine, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
