Glaucoma Service

The Glaucoma Service at Doheny offers a complete spectrum of consultative, diagnostic, medical and surgical services. Faculty members are involved in an NEI sponsored, multicenter clinical trial studying the efficacy and safety of early surgery in the treatment of glaucoma.

Some of the more common patient referral diagnoses for glaucoma cases include primary open angle glaucoma, chronic angle-closure glaucoma, congenital glaucoma and other complicated glaucomas.
