USC Orthopaedic Hand Surgeons
The USC Hand Program team is a blend of orthopaedic and plastic surgery expertise. An advanced multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach is used for diagnoses, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with hand and upper extremity disorders. Patients that can be referred to the program include individuals with acute injuries that range from finger-tip trauma to the loss of a limb, and patients with chronic conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, bursitis, arthritis, epicondylitis, and de Quervain's disease.
Diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic trauma problems caused by inflammation of the joint linings or tendon sheathes are also available through the Hand Program.
Orthopaedic surgeons include Stephen B. Schnall, M.D. ,Chief of Hand Surgery at LAC+USC Medical Center, and microsurgery expert Milan Stevanovic, M.D., Ph.D.
