OUR MISSION
To provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care to women, children, adolescents, and their families with special health needs in a culturally sensitive environment.

Since 1988, the Maternal, Child, Adolescent/Adult Center for Infectious Diseases and Virology at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California (LAC + USC) Medical Center has provided comprehensive, culturally-sensitive, family-centered, and multi-disciplinary HIV primary care to HIV-infected pregnant women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families, with research incorporated into all aspects of care. Through collaboration among the several departments within the Keck School of Medicine, a full spectrum of care can be provided for the entire family in one setting, and children can transition into adolescence and adulthood with age-specific providers within the same system. As a principal referral site for HIV-infected women and their families throughout Los Angeles County, the MCA Center is largest family-centered comprehensive HIV program in California.
