Pulmonology

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology is the only full-service clinical resource for the diagnosis and care of the pediatric patient with lung disease, from Palo Alto in the North to San Diego County in the South. The medical program is complemented by a dedicated, skilled pulmonary allied professional staff including nurse specialists, respiratory care practitioners, dieticians, and social workers. The division has the most advanced, state-or-the-art Infant and Pediatric Pulmonary Physiology Laboratories and the only pediatric Sleep (polysomnography) Laboratory in Southern California. The division provides regular ambulatorypulmonary consultation services in San Luis Obispo (established in 1978), Pomona Valley Hospital (1995), Valley Presbyterian Hospital (1995) and monthly in-patient consultation services at Huntington Memorial Hospital (1999).
