Anthony Zamudio

Associate Professor of Clinical

Dr. Zamudio received his doctorate in clinical psychology from UCLA. He has experience working with children, teens, families, and adults from the San Fernando Child Guidance Center, Kaiser Permanente Psychiatry Department; UCLA Student Health Center; and many years in private practice. He’s taught in our program since 1990, teaching the psychosocial aspects of primary care through didactic lectures, precepting in the family health center, and on family medicine inpatient rounds. He supervises monthly Balint sessions. He’s published articles in Family Medicine pertaining to teaching experiences with residents and patient encounters. He assisted several residents with their publications. His community interests include volunteering at the Gay & Lesbian Center where he is a training ride leader for the AIDS/Life Cycle, a 7-day 550 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
