The Department of Physiology and Biophysics is actively involved in original research and graduate and medical student education. At the present time there are 17 graduate students enrolled in degree programs leading to either the Ph.D. or M.S. degrees. Several combined M.D./Ph.D. degree candidates are also studying with Department mentors.
