Cancer in Los Angeles County,
Incidence and Mortality by Race/Ethnicity, 1988-2007

To provide easy access to cancer statistics for Los Angeles County, we have published an annual report of cancer incidence and mortality counts and age-adjusted rates since 1995. This report is markedly expanded compared to our previous reports. In addition to age-adjusted rates, it also contains age-specific counts and rates for incidence and mortality by year of diagnosis or death, sex, and race/ethnicity. A brief summary of the top 10 cancers by incidence and mortality for each racial/ethnic group is also provided in the report for the first time.
