SIMVASTATIN TO SLOW THE PROGRESSION OF ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE (ADCS Clinical Trial) - This 12 month study examines the safety and efficacy of using lipid lowering drugs to slow the progression of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Participants can be taking Reminyl, Exelon, Aricept, or Namenda (memantine).

VALPROATE (DEPAKOTE) NEUROPROTECTION(ADCS Clinical Trial) - This 26 month study examines whether valproate delays the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and possibly its progression. Participants must have mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease and may be taking Razadyne (formerly Reminyl), Aricept, Exelon, or Namenda (memantine).

MYRIAD - This study will determine if an experimental drug, MPC-7869, will be well tolerated by the subject and will slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease.

TAKEDA SLEEP STUDY - This study will evaluate whether Rozerem™ can safely improve sleep rpblems in person with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease.

ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE NEUROIMAGING INITIATIVE (ADNI) - This study is about the usefulness of imaging studies and biomarker tests, together with measurements of memory, thinking and daily functioning, in the future conduct of studies that will focus on the identification and treatment of Alzheimer's disease at an early stage.

TELEPHONE INTERVIEW OF COGNITIVE STATUS (TICS) - This study will determine whether a standardized telephone administered memory assessment can be used to correctly identify subjects who have been classified as non-demented, mild cognitive impairment or demented on the basis of a neurological evaluation and neuropsychological assessment.
