The Division of Research in the Department of Radiology is a busy program and has grown significantly in the past few years. Researchers around the campus collaborate with our radiologists to perform imaging for many areas of study including oncology, neurology, and biokenisiology, to name a few.  A number of our own radiologists are renowned researchers dedicated to advancing medicine through improving imaging methods, testing new instrumentation, creating imaging software, and developing novel radiotracers for clinical application.

Additionally, the DOR Molecular Imaging Laboratory has been growing steadily with increased interest by both campus researchers and external users such as pharmacy and device companies.  To read more about the Molecular Imaging Laboratory, please click here.

Listed below are projects currently underway in our department with radiologists as Principal Investigators or Co-Principal Investigators. A full description of each study will be available on this website in the near future.   Many other studies, which are not included on this site, are collaborative efforts with other departments at USC.
