Dr. John Gross
Dr. Gross practices the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery including lasers and ultrasonic liposuction. He provides his patients with the best possible care. He is easy to talk to and has an unhurried approach to discussing your desired outcome. He and his staff are dedicated to making you comfortable in understanding your surgery and helping you make a well-informed decision.
Dr. Gross is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles. He is Chief of the Section of Plastic Surgery at the Los Angeles County+University of Southern California Medical Center and also serves as Director of Cosmetic Surgery Education for the plastic surgery residents at the University of Southern California.
After medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Dr. Gross trained at the University of Florida-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida and at the University of Southern California where he completed residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He is also fellowship-trained in Craniofacial Surgery.
Dr. Gross holds board certification in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
His society memberships include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons and Fellowship in the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Gross volunteers with the non-profit organization Operation Smile. He has performed surgery on children with congenital deformities in Africa as well as in South America.
