Reconstructive Surgery

A Comprehensive Approach to Restoring Form and Function

Whether an accident of nature, or the nature of disease, disfigurement not only ravages the human form, but the human spirit as well. It robs individuals of their essence, leaving scars that extend far below the visual surface-slicing deep into their souls.

Through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach, University Plastic Surgeons Center for Reconstructive Surgery at USC University Hospital seeks to reestablish harmony of the human body. The surgical team incorporates a variety of procedures that spring from many fields-blending innovative techniques together in combinations that offer the greatest advantage to functional and aesthetic restoration.

Located on the University of Southern California medical campus, University Plastic Surgeons Center for Reconstructive Surgery works closely with specialists in neurosurgery, head and neck surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics, urology, oncology, and dermatology. In addition, patients have access to a wide range of allied health professionals as well as a 32-bed Rehabilitation Unit located at USC University Hospital.

Through an individual approach to plastic and reconstructive surgery, we measure success by the completeness of our work, the satisfaction of our patients and, most important, our ability to restore people to normal, productive lives as soon as possible.
