Fellow (1), Surgical Critical Care
Assistant Unit Chief (1), Trauma-Critical Care
The position is a one-ear appointment, beginning on July 1 each year as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Trauma and Critical Care, Division of Trauma & Critical Care, University of Southern California and also to the Attending Staff of the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. The AUC functions as a junior faculty member on one of the three trauma surgery teams. In most cases the AUC year is taken after completing a Surgical Critical Care Residency year. This Trauma Center is very busy and there are a large number of operative cases because of the high percentage of penetrating injuries we see. There is an excellent opportunity to do research. Our program supports two AUC positions each year.
Interested applicants should contact the Program Director
