| At the Prostate Center, we specialize in evaluating and treating prostate disease, educating patients and their families about treatment options, and providing comprehensive care for each individual patient. Our team is recognized as a national leader in prostate disease research and patient care. The Prostate Center at USC also has a partnership with the Keck School of Medicine and Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, which enables us to offer a broad range of treatments and the highest quality services. |

We are committed to creating the best possible outcomes for our patients. To us, that means more than curing their prostate disease. It also means preserving their quality of life through the best possible care, from the first consultation through every step of treatment.
Our doctors are experienced in every stage and manifestation of prostate disease, and we maintain a high success rate in treating prostate cancer. Our experience with a vast array of conditions is reflected in our low complication rates and improved outcomes. Meanwhile, we continue to push the frontiers of medicine to find better treatments, better therapies, and better quality of life for our patients. We are leaders in clinical research, early adapters of the most current therapies available, and pioneers in advanced treatment techniques such as laparoscopic and nerve-sparing surgery.

The Prostate Center at USC is affiliated with the Norris Cancer Center, an NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The NCI is the federal agency that sets standards for cancer care. Only 60 cancer centers in the United States are NCI designated and only 39 of those have the highest ranking of Comprehensive Cancer Center . To attain this ranking, the Center must have an integrated research program, provide clinical care and services for cancer patients, and conduct extensive ancillary cancer-related activities such as outreach, education and information dissemination. A competitive peer review process selects applicants for this highly selective designation. |
