The Keck School of Medicine and the USC Marshall School of Business jointly offer an innovative five and a half-year dual degree program for individuals seeking knowledge in both medicine and business administration.
Interested students apply during their second year of medical
school, and begin core M.B.A. courses in year 3 (following
successful completion of the first two years of medical school).

Admissions Requirements
While admissions for the M.B.A. program is highly selective, the program is open to students pursuing an M.D. degree at the Keck School of Medicine of USC who meet the basic requirements for the M.B.A. program at the Marshall Business School. The M.B.A. Admissions Committee carefully assesses candidates prior academic, professional and personal accomplishments. There are no minimum required scores for exams, but class averages are noted in parentheses. These include:
- A bachelors degree (average GPA of 3.35) from an accredited institution.
- Official GMAT scores (average GMAT score of 684)
- Official TOEFL scores (if applicable)
Application Process
The MBA application should include:
- A completed application and accompanying forms
- Application fee of $125
- Letters of recommendation
- Official academic transcripts
- Essays
