The Keck School of Medicine offers a professional program
for front-line public health workers, called the Master
of Public Health (MPH). The program is intended to prepare
graduates to aid in the creation of healthy communities. This
involves a variety of settings and numerous communities, with
a strict focus on disease prevention and health promotion
among diverse populations. The program begins with five core
classes, followed by an area of related, concentrated study
selected by the student.
