Funding & Opportunities

Resources maintained by a number of university-wide and Keck School units can help faculty members, post-doctoral fellows and graduate and medical students identify new funding sources and research opportunities. Some offices also offer services to help match an investigator with a research grant or gift.

MEDICAL STUDENT RESOURCES

Research participation can be an important part of the student's medical education. Keck School faculty members encourage medical students in good academic standing to participate in long-term or short-term research projects.

Programs include summer projects; a 5th year research option; M.D./Ph.D. training; a medical student committee on research opportunities; a student research journal and forum; and information about funded and volunteer research opportunities from the Keck School and individual faculty members.
