With the support of both the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute and the Broad Center for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, we are pleased to announce the start of a new joint journal club: NeST (Neurogenetics/Stem Cells).

The goal of this journal club is to discuss cutting-edge translational and basic studies generally from neurogenetics and stem cell research, with preference to topics related to both fields and, especially, regenerative medicine. The journal club will complement INTD 650 (Stem Cells and Medicine) which is being offered this semester M and W afternoons.

We will be meeting ~2 times per month on *Thursdays at 2pm in Herklotz Auditorium. The format will involve a presenter choosing a paper with wide appeal, providing background on the topic so that all may understand, and walking the group through the results and conclusions.

All are welcome to participate! In particular, we are currently looking for ZNI and Broad Center post-docs or advanced graduate students to present papers. Please email us about available dates.

When it is your turn we are happy to assist in choosing a good paper.
