TECHNOLOGY
The Information
Technology Services group provides computing support for
the Keck School of Medicine. Under the leadership of David Loor, the Director of Information Technology,
the group has a three-fold mission:
- Create a scalable, secure and standards based computing
infrastructure.
- Provide professional computer support services for Windows
and Mac users.
- Serve as the liason between the school and USC's Information Technology Services Division.
Departments within the Keck School of Medicine receive
support on a subscription basis.
The group known as "Keck Tech" originated in May 2005 and started by supporting the Office of Administration & Finance. Since then the customer base has grown from 23 users
to over 500 users in various departments.
