KeckTech Services

Requesting Service
Work orders can be submitted three different ways:
  1. by sending an email to kecktech@usc.edu
  2. by calling (323) 442-4444
  3. by visiting our offices in KAM-B28
Critical or urgent requests should always be communicated directly to Keck Tech personnel either by phone or in person.
 
Tracking Work Orders
All requests are entered into our help desk application where a work order is generated and a confirmation email is sent to the requestor. Upon review of the work order, a technician is assigned. The help desk application is used to track, organize and report on work orders, our subscribers and their computers.

Software Offered
Kech-Tech subscriptions include access to the following software licenses:
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Publisher, Visio, Project for Windows
  • Microsoft Office and Entourage for Macs
  • Anti-Virus for Windows machines
  • Server based anti-spam filtering
  • Enterprise Anti-Spyware for Windows machines
 
Coverage Hours
Keck-Tech provide technical support between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
