Executive Director of Development, Annual and Special Giving
Annamaria is responsible for direct mail communications and annual giving for the Keck School. Additionally, she is responsible for all unrestricted annual giving for the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her primary fundraising activities include student scholarships, patient care, and research.

Brittany De La Torre
Manager, Special Events
Keck School of Medicine of USC and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center
Brittany De La Torre is responsible for the planning and implementing of events for the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and Keck School of Medicine, including the Swing Against Cancer Annual Golf Tournament and various donor, faculty and staff receptions. She is an alumnus of the Annenberg School of Communication at USC.

Amanda Deshazier
Manager, Donor Services
Amanda holds the position of Manager of Donor Services within the department of Development Operations. She is responsible for all aspects of gift processing that includes acknowledgment, fund assignment, reporting and records maintenance and all services unique to an office supporting major gift fundraising efforts. When donors to the Keck School of Medicine have a question regarding a gift, Amanda acts as a liaison between the donor, KSOM and the USC Alumni and Development Records Office.

Cheryl Difatta
Director of Development, Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute
Cheryl manages major gift fundraising and advancement efforts for the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute (ZNI). Her role is to garner funding for the ZNI and the clinical neurosciences from individuals, foundations and corporations. She is responsible for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors supporting the work of scientists and clinicians who are solving the mysteries of brain diseases and advancing new treatments. These philanthropic efforts will bolster the community of brain scientists at the ZNI and Keck School of Medicine through collaborative research, faculty endowments and educational programs. Cheryl holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from New School University and an undergraduate degree from Regents College.

Clara Driscoll
Director of Planned Giving
Clara M. Driscoll is responsible for oversight of planned giving activity at the Keck School of Medicine and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is an attorney, and assists donors with making deferred gifts, including pledges, trust and estate gifts and a variety of life income arrangements. She also assists donors with gifts of real and personal property.

Kerry Franco
Assistant Director, Foundation Relations
Kerry assists the department in identifying and researching potential funding sources for both the Keck School of Medicine and the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She works in a collaborative effort with the Office of Scientific Affairs in managing the Requests for Proposals (RFP) process to identify and match these grants & awards with KSOM investigators. Kerry also assists in coordinating special projects in the Foundation Relations Office including site visits by foundations and other major donors. She is a graduate of USC with a degree in Public Policy, Management, and Planning and is currently in a master’s program at the USC Rossier School of Education.

Cynthia Galindo
Campaign Manager
Cindy joined the Development Office in October 2002. She assists the Senior Associate Dean with campaign management. Prior to joining the Keck School of Medicine, she served as the Program Officer for a group of private family foundations. Ms. Galindo has over 12 years experience in higher education and non-profit management, and holds a Masters of Public Administration.

Catherine Herrera
Direct Mail Coordinator
Catherine works with the Executive Director of Development, Annual and Special Giving, and assists in the coordination and implementation of direct mail communication for alumni, patients, and donors to the Keck School of Medicine. She is an alumnus of the Annenberg School of Communication at USC, and holds a Master of Arts, Management from The Peter F. Drucker and Mastaoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.

Elliott Law
Online Programs Manager
Keck School of Medicine of USC and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center
Elliott is responsible online communication and fund raising for the Keck School, including the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. He publishes the alumni email newsletter and administers the USC Norris Tribute Funds program. A USPTA certified tennis professional, Elliott serves on the planning committee for the Salerni Collegium Tennis Tournament fund raising event. He received his BS and MS degrees in Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Joyce Mayne
Director of Development
Joyce works with the Departments of Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She collaborates with doctors, staff and grateful patients to find funding to support the innovative research at the Keck School. Joyce comes from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and has also worked for the Office of Protocol and Events. She earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Gerontology, as well as a Master's in Public Administration all from USC.

Michael Mayne
Director of Development, Alumni and Constituent Relations
Michael works with alumni and friends of the university. His primary duties include working with annual and major donors who are dedicated to supporting health education and medical research at the school. He also serves as the staff liaison for the school's alumni class agents. In addition to providing philanthropic support, alumni class agents are looked to for their civic and professional expertise, for feedback on campus issues and new ideas and as advocates in the community at large.

Jaime Miranda
Director of Development Research
Jaime oversees the delivery of research services directly related to fundraising programs and projects. He joined USC as research analyst within University Advancement in 2002. Prior to prospect research, he was a major gifts fundraiser and managed the annual stewardship campaign at a national educational reform nonprofit in Los Angeles. In addition, he has done market research and served as a development consultant. A native of Los Angeles, Jaime is a former elementary school teacher. He received a BA in Spanish from Oklahoma State University.

Kavita Munjal
Executive Director, Foundation Relations
Kavita manages the fundraising efforts for the Foundation Relations Office of the Keck School of Medicine of USC, which includes the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She has primary responsibility for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of gifts from private, family, and corporate foundations. Kavita collaborates with faculty, administration, and other development officers in foundation donor stewardship. Munjal and her team advance Keck priorities in research, patient care and education by aligning KSOM’s needs with interests and strategic goals of foundations. Kavita has a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from SUNY/Buffalo and a joint M.A. in International Relations and Communication from Georgetown and American Universities in Washington, D.C.

Norma Perez
Director, Special Services
Norma serves as the primary contact for our Special Guest Program. The Special Guest Program is designed to service the needs of our special friends of USC at the USC University Hospital, the Doheny Eye Hospital, the Healthcare Consultation Centers and the USC Executive Health Clinic. These special services include assistance with priority appointments, referrals for our excellent doctors and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience with regards to the care they receive at any one of our affiliated hospitals. Norma has been part of the USC Trojan family since 1983, and with the Office of Development since 1986.

Michael Seymour
Executive Director, Development Operations
Michael is responsible for overseeing the departments that support the entire development function at the Keck School of Medicine and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. These departments include: Development Research, Annual Giving and Direct Mail, Online Giving Programs, Gift Processing and Gift Acknowledgment as well as the Stewardship and Special Projects. He is a graduate of the University of San Diego and holds a master's degree in education from Loyola Marymount University. He has been with the Keck School of Medicine office since 1998.

Mimi Ton
Administrative Assistant II
Mimi supports the Executive Director of Development, Annual and Special Giving in the Office of Development and Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She assists in planning, organizing, and implementing of services and activities related to the office. She handles budgeting, purchasing, accounting including accounts receivable and accounts payable. She is also responsible for maintaining data records and various reports, as well as planning work schedules and supervising student workers.

Connie Wagner
Administrative Services Coordinator, Alumni & Constituent Relations
Connie provides administrative support to the director and associate directors in the Alumni and Constituent Relations Office. She assists in the planning, organization, and implementation of services and activities related to the office. Connie is the primary financial officer responsible for maintaining the accounts and processing all financial transactions. She manages the office, maintains the alumni and constituent records and lists, supervises all mailings and response lists, and staffs events.

Hilarie M. Withers
Director of Special Projects and Stewardship
Working in Development Operations, Hilarie oversees donor recognition and facilitates an ongoing relationship between donors and the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Hilarie is an alumnus of USC and has worked at the university since 1989, previously in the USC Associates and the USC Norris Cancer Center Development office.

Frances Zepeda
Development Coordinator, Foundation Relations
Frances is a graduate in Sociology and Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She comes to us from the Los Angeles Leadership Academy High School where she worked as a special project coordinator and data entry clerk. Additionally, she has worked under the Development Director for the Legal Aid Foundation in Santa Barbara County. Frances provides administrative support for the Foundation Relations Office. Her primary responsibilities are office management and the coordination of activities across all fundraising priority areas.
